Brand New Heavies tonight in LA as well

  Fri Feb 8 (10pm) @ Crash Mansion, 1024 S Grand Ave in Downtown  LA party mecca Crash Mansion hosts one of its largest shows by uniting with KCRW for tonight’s Kiss-N-Grind party. Hosted by CSI star Gary Dourdan, the evening boasts a band known for its tasty bass lines and jazzy grooves — Brand New Heavies, with N’Dea Davenport on vocals. The bill also features soulful songstress Caron Wheeler, most well-known as Soul II Soul’s sultry R&B diva. Jazz-vocal superstar Eric Roberson makes an appearance, as well, and DJ sets by Garth Trinidad, Vikter Duplaix, and DJ Rashida keep the night young.
