People’s Records benefit in Detroit

Wow.  This is crazy.  So one of the greatest record stores in Detroit, People’s Records apparently was flooded.  Unless you’ve been there, it’s hard to imagine how much really good, rare vinyl was in that place.  So, they’re throwing a benefit party to raise some dough for the rebirth..  If you’re in Detroit, don’t miss this.

On Friday, March 14th at Northern Lights Lounge, we’re throwing a party to help raise money so that People’s Records can reopen bigger and better as soon as possible. People’s Records is the place that every musician or record lover of all kinds in Detroit go to find those gems. All proceeds go to People’s Records and vinyl donations are also being collected. We are asking for a minimum donation of $5 with a suggest donation of $10. If you would like to make an outside donations, please email djkfresh@rensoul.com. The lineup for this evening will include yours truly K-Fresh, Brian Gillespie, DJ Dez, DJ Sicari, and People’s Records owner Brad Hales. Please come out and support a great cause. Northern Lights Lounge is located at 660 W. Baltimore in Detroit.” – K-Fresh
