Atmostphere – “Shoulda Known” video

I stopped being much of a fan of Atmosphere somewhere between Lucy Ford and God Loves Ugly.  This new song doesn’t especially do it for me either, but I will say that Slug is very good at connecting with his audience.  He sticks to his style and general subjects and there is something to be said about that kind of consistency.  It can also be boring.  Lastly,  this video kinda reminds me of The Roots “Birthday Girl.”  There is no doubt that a growing number of youth are lost these days and among other quick-fix solutions, using hard drugs is where they end up.  It’s a damn shame and a bit of an embarrassment to me.  That shit is a sign of giving up.  It’s a lack of character and strength.  It’s very often a lack of support and proper upbringing too.  Anyway, here’s the video from their upcoming album “When life give you lemons, You paint that shit gold.”  Enjoy.
