For anyone peepin’ the blog for the first time, don’t stop at all this Dilla goodness. There is an overwhelming amount of dope music for you throughout the blog. Click the music category to the right and scroll through. I promise you’ll find plenty that’ll make you wanna come back for more. Enjoy.
Guess who’s got the MCA album muthafuckaaasssss!!!!! Hahaaaaa! Yeeeeaaaahhhh.
Now, I gotta be real careful to do the right thing with this. My thoughts of what I would if I got this before I even got it was to post the whole album with a link to the Ma Dukes Foundation, which I think makes the most sense.
Fuck MCA. Who needs to give them money for holding on to this album for so long and not sharing it with the fans. Plus, I want Dilla’s mom to get the dough.
What I’m gonna do first is holla as Shoes and a couple other people who were really close with Dilla and see how they feel.
Until then, I leave you with this GEM produced by Pete Rock and Bilal. I don’t know the name, but who cares. It’s sooo good.
So you know, I’m not sharing the best track on the album. It’s hard to say which one it is, but right now I have a favorite… you’ll get it at some point.

Wow, I’m so jealous! Haha. I say, post the link to the Ma Dukes foundation and I would gladly make a generous donation in exchange for the entire MCA album (I got my credit card all set). It would definitely feel good to know that Mrs. Yancey will be getting 100% of the proceeds. Anyways, thanks for posting the Pete Rock/Dilla track. It’s simply too good for words.

when i first hearded that joint produced by pete rock a few days ago i said oh man that’s too hot, i need this right now ! Can’t wait for that mca album, for real !
