**** Omer Saar – THE GREEN ALBUM coming out May 27th ****

Aight people,

I have barely mentioned this project, but I’m gonna make it official.

Almost 3 years ago I produced an album called The Green Album.  It’s a full-length remix album of mostly golden-era hip hop and some “underground” over ALL AL GREEN SAMPLE-MADE BEATS.  

Because Al Green & Questlove are dropping their album “” on MY BIRTHDAY, May 27th, I decided the stars had aligned and it was time for me to finish the project and share it with the world.

 

So far, artists on the album include Common, Slum Village, Fugees, ODB, Nas, Mos Def, Saukrates, Das Efx, De La Soul, Notorious BIG, FINALE, Warren G, Big L, Outkast, Royce da 5’9’’, Pharcyde, JaMethod Man, MF DOOM, Ghostface Killah, Jay-Z, AZ, and Pharoahe Monch.

If ANYONE has any Dilla, Boot Camp Click, Roots, Souls of Mischef/Hiero, or other CLASSIC acapellas, PLEASE email them to me.  Oh yeah, also, the Bush Babees “Love Song Remix” Acapella.  I use to have that record at one point.  Gotta have that.  THANKS!

I will share more about the album soon, but I wanted to make it official and let y’all know.

There’s no backing out now!  Haha.
