Aqeel – a new space funkateer worth checkin’ for

First of all, let’s big up my people at The Moovmnt for being the constant taste-makers and goodness sharing folks they are.

Now… who on earth needs to travel into space anymore when space is more officially here on earth than ever before?  I love this shit!  All of it (All the good part of it.  There’s an overwhelming amount of people “faking the funk”).  I feel like getting a crazy purple space suit with silver on it, some silver ass boots, and a lazer.  … LAZERS!  Can I go on record and say that I BET YOU lazers become a trend?  

There’s so much good spaced-out funk finally emerging.

I have a DOPE interview with Dam Funk that you will all have the pleasure of checking out soon as I get some pix and “exclusive” music from the man.  Btw, DAM is the TRUTH!!  

Anyways, Aqeel is new to me, but he has that Sa-Ra/Bilal with a solid dose of early 80s funk sound to him.  I’m not saying he’s the truth just yet, but I like what I’m hearing so far.
