Saigon f/ Red 5ive – “Believe it” (free download) and a bunch more
My homey Mike Eagan put me up on Saigon like 6 years ago. I’ve been BANGIN’ that shit for a long ass time. When Saigon came out it was really refreshing. A real street cat that was telling what I believe to be an honest story of his life. Dude has his own style. You know it’s Sai-gitty from the jump. Since those first couple mixtapes “The Best of Saigon A.K.A. The Yardfather Vol. 1,” “Part 2,” then came “Abandoned Nation,” and finally “The Greatest Story Never Told,” which I thought had come out a long time ago. I’ve had that joint for a couple years at least. But, I found this new song on Complex and they’re saying Saigon just got released from his Atlantic Record deal and retained full ownership of his masters, “so we’ll probably end up hearing “The Greatest Story Never Told.”
Here are some links to his older tracks that I liked:
This joint tells his “music” story to some extent Saigon – “A Mile In My Shoes”
I actually put one on my DJ Bacuzzi Luv – “Mother’s Day Mix” (free download)
Saigon – “Letter To Omnipotent”
Saigon – Troopin/Sugar Pie Honey Buns
This new track is aiight. I haven’t heard the rawness of Saigon since that first mixtape. I hope he brings it. I was preaching Saigon for a couple years and thought he was the next to blow. Obviously I’m wrong a lot of the time.

Here it is - Saigon f/ Red 5ive – “Believe it”
