Introducing: Avenue To (some real cool hip hop/jazz) (free download)

Avenue To is a DOPE new crew comprised of Oddisee, Unknown, and Kolai. The three together are creating some real beautiful, hypnotic type Hip Hop/Jazz through live instrumentation and a lot of soul. Their project is entitled Three Way Intersection and I think you’re all gonna dig this a lot.

I actually like the description that I got from their bio:

· Cosmopolitan beat science.

· Sudanese coffee, a cashmere scarf, and a pair of suede Pumas… don’t forget the cardamom.

· A vigorous head-nod experience in a plush lounge.

The first video is an introduction of Ave. To from the crew themselves. They talk about the music they’re making, why they’re making it, how, and more.

This video is of what I believe is the single from the album, ”Sand To The Beach”. Either way, it’s lovely.
