K T  also chops it up with Buff and it’s a beautiful thing!  Buff talks about Nas’ new album, about how Nas and his favorite group of all-time, Outkast influence him, he talks about a lot of what is currently going on in the Hip Hop game like Soulja Boy, and much more.  

 

One of the many things I really appreciate about artists like Buff1 is that they are deeply rooted in Hip Hop culture.  That knowledge and experience being part of the culture whole-heartedly is what gives Buff and others like him a realistic perspective and foundation to build from.

 

How many of the up-and-coming artists that are hot right now can go back as far as Buff and AML can.

 

This podcast is just a wonderful look into the mind, life, history, and music of Buff1 and it was an honor for UniverSOUL Productions to be a part of the project.  BIG UPS to KT.  Thanks brotha!

Before I let you go, I want to go on record and say that Buff1’s new album There’s Only One may very well be the best album of the year.  There is a LOT of good music coming out.  Being able to do this blog (pray I can afford to keep doing it) is a blessing cuz I get to hear all kinds of great music.  Lucky for you too huh?  Haha.  Getting back to the point, There’s Only One is CLASSIC.  I don’t just say that and TIME WILL TELL as only it can, but in 2, 3, 5 years from now, you can tell me I was right.
