Local People – Barbara Acklin – “Am I The Same Girl” remix

Local People is me (Ennio Styles), Lanu (aka Lance Ferguson from dope funk band The Bamboos), Suburban Lights and Benjamin Tobias. They gave us the original 8-track parts from 1968 – amazing! We basically chopped up all the drums, guitars, keys and horns and rearranged them in a reggae style around her vocals.
