Electric boogie n’ breakin’ part 1

I’m on a kick.. sorry.  You’ll see what I mean in the next post.  Here’s part 1 of what I hope will be many ode’s to real electric boogie, breakin’, creepin’, poppin’ n lockin’.  We’ll start in the 80s.

 

This video is great (1980 Soul Train).  What happened to cool ass hosts like this that didn’t shout and gas you up with all the “hype”?

UTFO in 1984.  The audience doesn’t even know what to make of it.. haha.  ”Look it ‘em…  Isn’t that strange.  I’m glad my kids are nothing like this”  haha.
