Invincible – “Sledgehammer” (video)

You can not say Invincible ain’t Hip Hop.  This girl is one of the most passionate people I know and Hip Hop is one of her true loves.  It shows in everything she does.

This video is DOPE.

It’s doper than yours.

… and I mean that in a way that should be constructive.  This is a standard that Invincible is setting.. leading by example, which is something she does very well.  I hope people are inspired by the raw flavor of this video and Invincible’s work.  I sometimes have trouble giving her the shine she deserves due to personal things, but at the end of the day, the truth has always been that I’m a fan and like what she does with her talents.

Both Invincible and FINALE were staying at my crib when they shot this video.  It’s too bad KT, who co-produced the track with Haircut, wasn’t out here for it too.  Y’all should know all about KT by now (if not, check the links below).  Let me also say something I don’t say enough… Haircut is a MONSTER on the beats too.  The man can make anything for the hardest Guilty Simpson beat or the smoothest soul track you’ve heard in modern day (check the last track on the Now On – “Don’t Call It A Mixtap” hosted by DJ House Shoes (free download)).
